What You’ll Need:

• A Windows laptop or Mac (Boot Camp supported; setup instructions provided)

• ENET cable

• OEM WiFi antenna (installation guide included)

• Battery charger with at least 10 amps or jumper cables plus a second vehicle

During the session, a certified coding professional will connect to your laptop over WiFi and perform the upgrade. Simply connect the ENET cable and let the expert handle the rest. The full process usually takes about an hour.

All features remain active, including Connected Services, Remote Services, SiriusXM, and more.

Compatible Vehicles:

• 1 Series: F20 / F21 with NBTEvo iDrive 4 (late 2015 – early 2016)

• 2 Series: F22 / F23 with NBTEvo iDrive 4 (late 2015 – early 2016)

• 3 Series: F30 / F31 with NBTEvo iDrive 4 (late 2015 – early 2016)

• 4 Series: F32 / F33 / F36 with NBTEvo iDrive 4 (late 2015 – early 2016)

• M Series: F80 / F82 / F83 / F87 with NBTEvo iDrive 4 (late 2015 – early 2016)

Check Your Firmware:
Go to Navigation → Options → Settings → Position & Version History. You should see a version starting with NBTEVO_XXXXX. Accepted versions include NBTEvo_C, D, E, or F.
